have you started to feel baby move yet?

im 16W2D today. i have felt bubbles over the last one or two weeks, but today I've felt baby move off and on all day for sure! its so crazy, and I love it!
for those that have started to feel baby move, how far along were you when it was very obvious that it was baby moving?

I just found out yesterday that I have an anterior placenta....so a lot of the baby's movements are muffled and cushioned by the placenta!! I feel a bit here and there but not as much as I wish I could!!

I think it might be too early to feel hiccups. it is amazing how the feeling goes from a bubble popping to the feeling of a tiny kick! it seems to get stronger as the days go on too.

im week 18 tomorrow and they say week 17 the baby doubles in weight because baby is starting to make fat cells. I think that's why all of a sudden im feeling like there is a baseball in there.

today the baby has been more quiet...I hate that...but anyway, I think I have been feeling the "baseball" thing too...I guess i never really noticed it with ds but now I guess I'm paying more attention to every little detail!!
Sometimes mine will "kick" multiple times in a row in the same spot...half the time I am wondering if I am feeling hiccups as when I had my last doppler the Dr. said she could hear the baby hiccupping!  But I'm thinking it's too little to feel that...wouldn't it be??

About a week ago I felt a distinctive kick. And Saturday Sunday and Monday of this week so far I have really felt Naomi kick. She has been doing it so much that I am sore in some places where she is kicking so constantly. It was great. Sunday my Dh got to feel his little princess kick and he was so excited. I think now my mom and the babies godmother want to feel it but she kicks when no one else is around. I guess I will have to be patient.

last night i was laying on the couch. my bladder was full, but not enough for me to notice it yet.... until i felt two kicks right in the bladder. its wasn't painful or anything, but it was the weirdest feeling! it actually made me laugh because all I could imagine was two tiny feet jumping on a water balloon.
some days I don't really feel anything, but then other days i feel it off and on all day.

Its possible. One of the things I've noticed about baby is that when she is laying on one side side it generally feels tighter and harder over there. I constantly am trying to get her to move because she likes to lean on my right side and its very uncomfortable when I'm working.

So I've been getting this feeling like theres a baseball in my belly over the last couple of days, especially in the car as thats where the seatbelt rests. I swore yesterday that it was on the right at first, then moved to the left, then went to the middle. I'm starting to wonder now if thats the baby. Maybe he/she is lying with his/her back facing me and thats why I'm not feeling much movement.

I just started feeling movement at 19 weeks but only occasionally and at first I thought it was gas but it felt a little different. It's hard to explain. I felt it on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon and that was it so I started to get worried and maybe think I was just imagining things but when I went to my ultrasound on Monday (19w 3d) the u/s tech said the placenta was cushioning my baby boy's kicks so I couldn't feel them....and he is quite the kicker from what I saw on the u/s!!

I think this baby is going to be a rib breaker. I'm 18 weeks 5 days and last night DH had his hand on my belly putting a little pressure down to see if he could feel her and baby threw all her weight against his hand. It was so powerful that it hurt me! I still can't get over it. Aspen wasn't that strong until way later in my pregnancy.

I've been feeling it for about 3 weeks now and I love it- I feel bad because everytime I say "oh babys moving" my husbands runs and puts his hands on my tummy only to feel nothing. lol Guess this is my special time for now :)

With my daughter I didn't feel her till about 6 months... and with this one i started feeling him at 17 weeks!! My daughter is a wild one though, she NEVER slows down and so the thought that I'm already feeling this one moving scares me a little bit!! Could it be that my daughter will be the calm one?? I am hoping this one is calmer... or at least a better sleeper. My daughter never gets tired... never!! Ha ha!!

Hey girls... With my first little one I was around 21-22 weeks (I am not sure it was 8 years ago) and my second little boy was around 15-16 weeks. This little girl is giving me a really hard time! LOL! I started to feel her move on and off at 15 weeks but I found out at my 16.5 week appointment the reason that I am not feeling her move as much is because she is cuddled up against the placenta so it cushions some of her movements... I hate it because I worry that she is not okay but those little moves that I do get are so sweet =) I have never had my babies positioned in such a weird way and I really hope that she doesn't stay this way because I want to feel her =) I am sure that she will be kicking the c r a p out of me soon because when they took the last pictures of her she is measuring a head of time and her little legs are long and her feet are BIG and the NP told me that I am going to be hurting! I hope she is right!

Vanessa...i always had a hard time getting dh to feel the baby.  they need to be a lot bigger and stronger so I'd say it was at least 20 weeks if not later than that.

I was getting this feeling (like popcorn) at night while in bed, but haven't felt it for the last few days. I keep looking for it, but my blood pressure has been up, and thats all I feel is my heart pounding when I've been laying down the last few days :/

With my first pregnancy I felt things at about 20 weeks.  Now at 15 weeks I felt the bubbles and stuff, then at about 16 weeks I felt the feeling of "worms".  Some days I feel a lot and others I don't feel much.  I'm 18 1/2 weeks and I feel stuff at least once a day now.

It is amazing the feeling, but honestly I liked the feeling of kicks a bit more.  I just didn't like when the baby kicked my ribs and bladder at the same time, lol.  I can't wait to feel strong kicks!

Yes Vanessa it does help to feel the baby but when "she" has a quiet day it makes me nervous still!!

Heather:  I always pop out high in my stomache because of things being shifted around...it happened to me last time I was pg. also....I think thats why I get heartburn so easily!!  And the "flutters" are still really light...i'm sure you have felt them but probably don't even realize it!!  I feel it in my lower abdomen...

heatherm4- it is crazy what our bodies can do right! i don't feel as though my organs are being squished just yet, but im sure it has to be uncomfortable when everything gets moved to accommodate for baby! I would often lay there trying to feel sometihng, but now the movement gets my attention. you probably are feeling very lite movements, but im sure soon you will all or a sudden know that its baby for sure! it will get to the stage where there is no confusing it.

alaysha- the last few weeks i wasn't sure if it was baby of gas either. but yesterday it was for sure baby. I thought it was weird how I went form not being sure to the next day it being totally obvious it was baby. its like baby had a growth spurt over night and made it big enough for me to feel the movements.

Dana- as im sure we have all read, the books say 16-20 weeks to start feeling baby. im soooo happy that it started earlier rather than later. im sure you feel the same. like i have said before, when i finally get to feel baby, a lot of the anxiety about having another MC would go away, and I was right!
