hey just need to ask has any one had problems when they have ultrasounds and they are 5 weeks pregnant from the blood test results and they have the ultrasound but they  can c a gestational sack but no yolk or baby

What if you have been told that you have a blood clot around the yolk sac and your bleeding and your beta hcg?
hello every one i just got out of hospital on friday my beta hcg level was 5300 they saw the yolk sac but there was blood around it i went to hospital today i got blood test done hcg level is a 960 apparently dnt know if it coz this blood clot releasing it self or wat i asked the doctor but he smiled but i was told to go to my antenatal appointment on monday still can ppl give me addvice as i cant stop thinking bout it

they are estimating 30th of october from the blood test the gestational sac is messuring as 9 weeks i dnt know bout the yolk sac

So what are they estimating as the new due date?

i had my ultra sound today a bit success saw the yolk sac but no baby just yet so that might happen the next week or so so well this pregnancy is gunna b a long one i guess hopefully the baby grows

im going for my 6 week 4 day ultra sound hopefully i get to see the babies fingers cross

I agree. That is way too early to see anything. Really its a good sign that your seeing the gestational sack. Hope they get you in again soon so next time you will see more. My OB is making me wait until I'm 6w 5d to make sure they will be able to get a good pic.

First pregnancy at 5w3d when I got an ultrasound we only saw a sac, at 5w6d we saw a gestational sac and a yoke sac, and then at 6w1d we saw a heartbeat. If you are 5 weeks it most likely is just too early to see much of anything.

When i had an ultrasound at 6 weeks we didn't see much except a thick lining.  And a flutter on the screen that *could* have been the heartbeat.  At 5 weeks you won't see much, and many dr's won't do one till at least 6 weeks.  Don't worry if there was nothing on it.  We didn't see the baby at 6 weeks for me, but I had a 9 week apt on Wednesday and we saw a healthy little bean moving around!  It's amazing how much they grow!  

Don't worry, 5 weeks is too early, when you have your next I'm sure you'll see much more!  

Oh, and you can't even see a heart beating till between 5 1/2 - 6 1/2 weeks.  At this point as long as your numbers are going up as they should no need to worry!
