Prenatal over the counter???

Is good enough for a baby to have a prenatal over the counter? I bought an OTC prenatal since that I found out that I was pregnant. I have the Woman 1-a day I guess.. I dont have to me right. It was a two tablet w/DHA

As long as it has plenty of folic acid in it, you're fine with over-the-counter prenatals.

My Dr at Kaiser said that the OTC and the ones they prescribe are the same. I didn't argue with her since she has the degree and just bough some from the pharmacy. When ever your next visit is with your OB check with her/him.

I search the OTC prenatal before I even bought onecause I want to make sure what is the difference without prescription. Now I am taking OTC prenatal the folic acid is 800mcg is that good enough???
