anyone close?
hey ladies!! i just wanted an update on how everyone is feeling lately... does anyone think that they may deliver early? anyone dialated already? having contractions?
doc thinks im gonna deliver early!! and judging by the way i feel tonight, i agree. im getting weird "stretching" or "rubbing" feelings in my lower crotch area.... OMG it almost hurts. doctor says it could be any day... my fingers and toes are crossed! lol MY BACK IS KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!
eww back labor! I swore the other night I was in labor, it was so frustrating not knowing if that was it or not! 15 hours of contractions every 2-4 mins and no cervical change! Ugh~
im 3 cm dialted and been having back labor on and off all day, im freaking miserable, i think my little domino wants out and will not wait much longer!

I got checked for the first time (39 weeks) and I am 3 cm dialated.

No. It seems everybody is having contractions but me.

Thats the day my c-section is scheduled for....Sept 10th I have to be there at 6 am also!!!!! I know there is another Sept. mommy with a csection that day.....that would be cool 3 Sept babies born the same day!!!!
That's good to hear... an end to the bed-rest.. you must be so excited! That's the date I'd really like to be induced by (unless she decides to come on time)... my due date is tomorrow and I'm really hoping they'll induce me sooner rather than later.

sounds to me like things are starting to progress for you, are you dialated at all?
last night for like 3 hours i had real bad contractions, they were almost close enough to go to the hospital but then they got further apart, i have 19 days till my due date so it kind of scared the **** outta me plus i dont have the gas to make it to my hospital untill the 3rd!
That's great... glad to hear that things have started up for you! Just tell your body to keep up the good work.

I feel your pain on wanting the baby out! I am hoping at my apt on Tuesday she will want to induce me.
At my ultrasound today they said he weighs 7 pounds 3 ounces.

well i have my 37 week check up tomorrow, ill be getting the strep b test done and my first internal! WOOP WOOP im anxious. i really really hope that there is some progress. i want this baby out!! lol

you and i are pretty close in due dates... and i dont feel like the baby is coming any time soon. i can feel it in my ribs...baby is head down and has been for a while, but it wont drop... i should try sitting on an excercise ball... does that really work?? friday seems like forever away, i really want the doc to tell me im dialated... and it could be anytime!! my fingers are crossed for you and for me!! lol

I had 2 internals last week and I am not dilated or anything yet. The baby still hasn't even dropped. She is sitting pretty on rib cage city. LOL. I go to the doctors 2x a week now to monitor my BP. I have been doing some walking and sitting on my exercise ball to help bring her down a little bit but it seems like she just floats back up there. LOL. I have TONS of BH, and occasional AF type cramping. Lots of lower back pain too. I could complain for a year but I wont do that. LOL. I am just about 37 weeks and I still have a while to go. Although, my doctor was thinking about inducing at 38 weeks. I sure hope so... they were estimating the baby to be at 8 pounds already last week!
I go on Tuesday for my first internal exam! Keeping my fingers crossed because I am so ready to have this little guy!
I know what you mean about being upset... near the end you really start looking forward to these appointments just so you can get a better idea of how everything is going. I always thought most doctors did the internal check around week 36 and when I went in for my 36 week appt they told me that they don't do them until 38 weeks in their office. Actually when I went in last week I was a few days shy of 38 weeks but I had been having cramping and painful contractions (nothing too bad)... so I requested the internal (I told her I couldn't wait and I really wanted one right then and there... I felt silly begging for something like that). =) So I hear ya... it'll feel like forever until your next appointment... but on the plus side, that's really nice that your doc has his own ultrasound machine. Sorry to hear about the "no news".
im soooo disappointed. i just got back from my doctors appointment, and he didnt do an internal exam. he was running behind and he said the test they do at this point (strep B?? i think) wouldnt of made it to the lab in time today... so there was no point doing an internal today and that he would do it next week. BOOOOOOO!!!
but on the upside, he did do an ultrasound (my doctor has his own ultrasound machines) and i got to see the baby, see the heartbeat...and im measuring further along. apparently at the later stages of pregnancy its normal because the baby grows at a slower rate... i guess i'll have to hang tough until next friday.... lol .. its hard to not be upset cuz ive been looking forward to this appointment.

Every once in a while it'll hit me... especially after the doctor told me I might not make it to my next appointment.. I was thinking, "wow... so I could be a mommy by next weekend!" It's one of those things where it's obvious that it's coming up... but, yeah, the reality of it will just hit me out of nowhere. At those times I usually have a mix of excitement for what's to come (meeting my baby, being a parent, etc) and panic b/c of the unknown (I've never been a mommy before... I hope I know what I'm doing!). =)

So maybe you did lose yours and you just didn't realize it. So is your baby pushing up against your left rib cage a lot... is that why it hurts? Hopefully that'll die down soon.

I will tell you I have never felt this way while pregnant with my 2 boys. I am constantly crampy....my thighs are killing me....my body just ACHES!! 19 days to go!!!!
