Dont want the inlaws involved

I hope Im not the only one. I have a scheduled c section on Sept. 10th and I really really dont want my husbands stepmom or sisters there. I dont want the drama. I also dont want them showing up and me going off. They are just super fake and nothing but drama. Any suggestions? Anyone going thru this?

I get induced on the 10th. I was already told by my ex's mom none of them will be coming. They don't want to drive the 1 1/2 hr to the hospital I will be at. Plus my ex doesn't want anything to do with him.

honestly you are the boss in this situation and have control over who is there and who isnt. i didnt even want my sisters coming in the room while i was in labor... and they are blood relatives!!! but i did tell them ahead of time we only wanted my husband and my mom in the room and that we would call when everything was over and then they could come down. its better to make your wishes be heard now rather than in the hospital because like previous post stated it could make things worse. i  know how you feel with the fake sister in law though. its very frustrating for them to be like that.

Sometimes you just have to deal with that...many people have issues with their in laws, but I don't see how you can not include them without even more drama. If your husband feels this way maybe he can say something, but otherwise I think it wll be more trouble for you in the future if you make an issue of it. You'll be on lots of drugs , so you could probably get away with asking to be left alone while you're in recovery.
