princesska-i am due the 5th of sept., just a few days before you!! i base me going early only on one thing...my activity level. i am incredibily active, especially at work. i am a massage therapist and we keep ourselves pretty busy at the spa i work. i plan to work fulltime the whole way if my body lets me. most women in my field go 2-3 weeks early, so that is the only reason i am assuming that.
jamie-i originally predicted 7lbs7oz, but changed it as my family members tell me that with my size, i will probably have a baby in the 6lb range. hard to say though, my husband and i are both tall... little premies are soooo cute!!! i'll bet your boys were just precious!

Oh really? Is that what people are guessing or is that your actual set date? 6 pounds is a decent weight, my kids were 6 pounds 3 ounces and they had to wear premie stuff due to they were too small to fit in newborns, so they premature diapers are the cutest things, and I love pampers so I had bought pampers through the beginning, now I go to wonderful Costco and buy their diapers because its cheaper and better! Especially you get a nice big case of wipes, and diapers and it lasts the month for me, but that is because of there being two of them.

jamie-my family/friends like to guess the baby's birthdate, gender and weight as well. i have a written down list that i keep in my pregnancy journal. my d.d. is sept. 5, but i am expecting baby girl on aug.21 at 2:22pm weighing 6lbs8oz.

Well, I didn't do the first day of potty training today, just due to I had a dentist appointment and want to set a few days where I am at home and will be at home all day and night so I can concentrate just on my boys and potty training.
At this point they are too young really, they say start at 22 months, but it may take 6-12 months to get them potty trained so I am starting now, and all I can really do is put them in old clothes that don't fit real well, and their big boy underwear and say okay pee yourself LOL!!
Yes the transition was a surprise that it went so well, and I won't complain which I only hope that the bottle would of been that easy, but that is okay, the bottle isn't my first and number one worry at the moment.
I know time is sort of flying by, and then other days it seems to go forever. Like now it seems forever because I am waiting for my 19 week ultra sound in the end of July to find out the sex of my baby!! I guessed its a boy, and it will weight about 7 1/2 pounds haha!! His family makes guesses when someone gets pregnant, and that is my guess. He says its going to be 8 pounds and I'm thinking ha yeah right!!
The hiccup I always thought that I would not feel the boys hiccuping, and you know what you will know when it does it, umm it sort of feels like umm I don't know when you hiccup, but maybe not as strong and in your belly!! My boys hiccuped all the time and eventually it was more annoying then anything LOL!! Plus one would hiccup then it would finish, and then the next one would start up and it was just constant!!
But at first its a nice feeling, at 24 weeks I got 2 steroid shots in both of my hips, and those actually really hurt, but it developed their lungs a little quicker due to they said they could be born prematurely.
Yeah we don't have AC so its is really hot!!
Princess- I totally understand your views on the bottle! When I had my twins right off the bat they tried to get me to breastfeed both of them at the same time, and my views on breastfeeding weren't very good before I did that, and then that only made it worse, and they are very pushy with the whole breastfeeding thing. But the bottle was soo much easier for me due to I didn't have a baby stuck to my boob ever 30 minutes, like I needed to do things for myself too!! Plus, I did not produce enough milk, and I know they say drink tons, but with two new borns you barely have time to eat and do other things forget about drinking water constantly!!.

it sounds ike you need to go and find out what you are having girl!! book another sono and go find out it sounds like it is killing you. i am sort of still glad we didnt find out what it is although on some days i am like i so wish i just knew!!! lol but i think if i was really really wanting a certain sex i would have found out. just so you can get over any disappointment or sadness if it is not the one you really wanted. even though i have 2 girls and a boy would be great now i am still happy to have another girl so i am leaving it a surprise.
i am feeling really huge all of a sudden. and i still have 3 months to go so i am like gee i really am going to be big this time. i feel like a whale in bed and can never get comfy, my tummy is really itchy cause of all the stretching. i forgot how tiresome and uncomfortable the last trimester is - not that i am there yet but i am feeling it getting closer! lol i am pretty sure i will be having another sono soon to see how bubs is going. with all the sickness and meds i am on the like me to have at least 4 throughout the pregnancy. my next appointment at hospital is in 2 weeks. i have been really slack and havent been checked up for over 6 weeks. i am dreading having to go every 2 weeks soon as the docs is over an hour away and i always throw up driving blah blah blah. such i whinge i am hey. i will have the glucose test in 2 weeks and also a anti d injection in my butt OUCH.
we dont have baby showers over here but it sounds like loads of fun getting pressies and stuff! has anyone else planned theirs?? krissy i would be stalking the registry too!! lol just couldnt help myself. this weekend is a long weekend so i think we might start getting the nursery organised. i have sorted through 2 suitcases of clothing that my sister sent me from her kids and bags and bags of clothes from my girls. i put all the tiny either sex sort of clothes in a bag ready for the hospital. i love looking through babies clothes it makes me so clucky!!!
every time i eat these days the baby goes hay wire!! it kicks and dances and i swear i can here it being happy. lol so obviously it is going to be a big eater. i will be putting bubs straight on the bottle so will have to start stocking up on formula soon - it is so expensive. i had massive trouble trying to feed my 2 girls so with this one i thought i would save myself the heartache and the tears and put it on bottle straight away. what i will do tho is express for a few weeks so that it gets the best colostrum and stuff then i wont feel so guilty. do you guys do birthing classes over there??
