TTC for 5 months, any advice?

My boyfriend and I have been actively TTC for a about 5 months. I record EVERYthing, be it symptoms, moods, events in my menstrual cycle, cervical discharge, HPT and OPK results, etc. I also take prenatal vitamins daily.

I have sex on my ovulation days and during fertile week but still get negative results. I did a 7 day OPK and had negative results for LH everyday. I've never been on BC, never had a miscarriage, never had an STD, or any other cervical diagnosis. In fact I just went to PP and had a clear papsmear last month.

What else can I do to conceive? Am I not ovulating at all?

You're doing every thing right so far. The only other thing for you to do is speak to your doctor and seek guidance that way. I'm currently pregnant with baby number 3 and it took me 7 years to get pregnant with this pregnancy. I've had 6 pregnancies, two live births, 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic pregnancy. My two oldest I was extremely fertile so imagine my shock when I found out that I wasn't ovulating when we started trying for baby number 3. My doc, however, wanted to wait for the one year mark before any intervention was done. Just keep on doing what you're doing and always follow your instinct, if you feel as though you need to see a doc then go ahead.

Just keep trying and relax - as difficult as it sounds, try not to overthink about TTC and worrying about it as sometimes stress can  be a big factor and have an adverse effects. I have been TTC for ten months now, and I am told it is very common for this process to take up to a year before doctors recommend other tests etc. If concerned, perhaps ask your doctor for an ultrasound to check ovaries etc all in working order? Some doctors might make you wait until you have been trying longer than a year though! Good luck and sending positive vibes to you!
