Missed Ovulation?

Hi!
We're new to our TTC journey and so far it's been quite a confusing one. Since having a couple chemical pregnancies earlier in the year, I started educating myself more on fertility. I've always been aware of my CM so I could ballpark when I would be ovulating, but recently I purchased OPK's to see if I could narrow down the days. This week was my fertile window. Like clockwork I noticed my CM and then EWCM on what many of my tracker apps were telling me was my most fertile day, and just for fun I took a ovulation test. Faint positive line. I just tested once though I'm aware I should have continued testing throughout the day. We've been BD'ing every other day including last night. This morning I took another OPK just for giggles. Strong dark line. And my EWCM is now scant. My body seems to be telling me that I've ovulated already but the OPK's are telling me something different. I'm so confused... could a positive OPK indicate I've already ovulated?
