Is my spotting a cause for concern?

hi I have a random question and don't really know who to ask. I was wondering if you could help me if possible. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years unsuccessful. I have very irregular periods which makes it difficult to time ovulation. I have been spotting very lightly for 4 days now. It in no  way resembles a period. I only notice it when I wipe. And it isn't all day long just one maybe to times a day for the last 4 days. Should I seek medical attention or is this normal? Thanks

Have you done a pregnancy test?

If it turns out you're not pregnant this time i strongly recommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility, it will help you be able to better predict ovulation.

That happened to me before. Mine was for a week it was a period but very light. I went to the doctor cause it was more brown discharge and little bleeding, apparently it's normal...
