Much needed advise/help

I've been with my fiancé for 8 years. High school sweethearts. Life is great apart from us trying to have a child for the last few years and no positive outcome. What do I do and where do I start to address this problem, what questions do I ask the doctors, I just feel so helpless and down that I can't give my fiancé a child. Please help don't know where to start.

So, simple question---  do you track your cycle?  Day one of your period is cycle day one and you count from there,  Knowing how long your average cycle is helps.  MedHelp has a tracker app called mycycles that I use which is really helpful.  download that to start to see the pattern.  (you may already do this). My doctor told me the best way to conceive naturally was to begin having sex on cycle day 10 and then every other day for the next 10 days-- unless your cycle is longer than what is considered the average for women and then you do the every other day thing for longer.  It took me over three years to conceive but we did it.  I was very concerned it wouldn't happen and we were beginning IVF when I got my positive!  We're here to help if we can hon!

Thanks for your comment. I get really irregular periods, sometimes I won't get it for months. And then when I do it's like barely anything. So tracking my cycle is extremely hard or impossible practically. And the doctors say the same thing always, for me to lose abit of weight which I'm not extremely big, maybe my doctor is just hopeless and I need to find a new one.

I'm so sorry to hear about your frustrations with TTC. I'm in the same boat and it's not an easy journey. Your doctor should be able to refer you to a fertility clinic which would run some tests (blood work on both, sperm analysis, ultra sounds ect) and then from there help you as needed. Have you been tracking your ovulation? This will be good information for your doctor and the clinic. Hang in there! I can relate I how much of an emotional roller coaster it can be but some how we just have to be positive.
