TTC for a time that seems like forever!!!

Hello. It has been a long time since I have been on... I just wanted to let off some steam. My hubby and I have been TTC for over 3 years now. We got pregnant the beginnes of this year... misscarried March 17th at about 6 weeks. We are still trying. I am not even sure if I am ovulating. So FRUSTRATING. I would love to share a pregnancy and baby with my husband... it seems like the doctors do not take me seriously when I go in to talk about fertility. I have had a few appts. One said to try bcp for 3 months. I didnt want to, but did anyway... another order 21 day blood work to see if i am ovulating and when I do get it done, I have not ovulated or I cant get it done becuase my period is only 18 days apart... Waiting is so frustrating!!!

Thank you both for commenting. I have good days, and bad days... I have been taking vitamin B12 for about 2 months and have been taking a baby asprin a day. I have been back to the doctor and she wants to do another 21 day set of labs and take it from there. But, in order to that do that my cycles must be over 18 days apart, and for the last few months, they have not been. I am trying my darndest to stay calm and stress free and hope for the best.

I just wanted to give you some hope, I have been TTC for over 4.5 years, I too managed to fall pregnant only to miscarry and as I had achieved a pregnancy without intervention & have other children my GP was reluctant to help.

I am now nearly 8 weeks pregnant which we achieved naturally against all the odds and so far so good...

Keep pushing your Dr for the tests. The 21 day blood test is a very good start, ask if you can have it repeated. Are you using OPK's?? I found I was not ovulating on the text book CD14 so my results were not accurate. You may of ovulated before or after your blood test?

I was also offered other blood tests throughout the month to test FSH levels, Estrogen, Testosterone & Progesterone. These are just the basics they can offer you to give you a clearer picture of what is going on before embarking on further test and maybe a S/A for your DH.

I am guessing you are already getting yourself 'fertility fit' which is the best start you can give your baby... I was told to keep my weight in check, to take a good quality prenatal which I also combined with EPO for the best quality CM. I was also told to maximise the blood circulation to the uterus with exercise to cut out all caffiene and alcohol and drink lots of water. My DP also cut out alcohol and took folic acid and zinc to improve his sperm quality. Magnesium, Chasteberry, Agnus Castus (vitex) are all good for regulating cycles and improving your chances as well as eating oranges!!

Most of all don't give up hope. You will get pregnant again and your dream of having another child ill come true. SSBD and Good luck to you

Keep trying. 3 Years is quite long and I'm not sure why no one is taking you serious. You know you are able to get pregnant though since you have been before. Even though it didn't stick...there will be that right time when it does!
Have you thought about Vitamin B12? I've had some ppl on another forum mention it. I was thinking about taking it myself to help with cycle irregularity. My problem is more from my thyroid though.
