If you're already dilating then I can almost assure you that's what the pain is, I'm no doctor but the description matches to what you're explaining all too well

I'm 37weeks & 3days , I'm already 1.5 cm dialated and 50% thinned , but I never felt anything like that before till rite now , ima ask my Dr about it my next appointment

Hopefully it means I'm NOT dilating haha, I've been trying to figure out what the feeling was along with consistent light cramps and a bit of spotting after sex which I assume was my plug..  Too early for my little man to come!

Vaginal pain
