You wont feel anything i had to get cut for my son to be able to come out but its fine i was scared too im on my second and im afraid to get cut again lol sence im going natural with no meds
With my first i got the epidural and i had to get 4-6 stitches and with my second I didnt use any pain meds and i didn't tear or anything. But my doctor told me if you get the epidural your more likely going to tear
dont worry to much about it i had my oldest natually at 18 also her head was really big i tore inside and out my dr put stitches the disolve in water. after i had my daughter my dr also gave me a shot that helped with the pain but it also knocked me out. im now 24 and expecting baby number 4 i have not torn after my oldest
It all depends on how your doctor or midwife delivers the baby. If the just make you push and push without letting you rest and your baby sitting in the birth canal it will cause you to tear more. If you push and rest and let the baby sit it will slowly open your vagina so you don't tear. I only tore because my baby needed to be turned
There's been no research to say if it works or not but my midwife told me to massage my perineum with vitamin E oil from 35 weeks
I feel you girl. I am so terrified to tear or to have to get cut! It scares me so bad. I was wondering if there was a way during pregnancy to avoid it as well. In guessing maybe a lotion to use daily and keagles?
You can't do anything to prevent it. It will just happen. Some people tear and some dont. Everyone is just different
