how long

I was wondering how long it takes for your stomach to go down after baby. I realize I won't go to prepregnancy size immediately after birth and I heard it takes some women a year or so. But I mean like will my stomach still be the size it is now after? Lol sorry if this seems like a dumb question

Belly can go down as flat as it was before pregnancy (for some it takes weeks, months or years) but the shape of your body might change. So you may need different style of clothes after pregnancy.

Lol,  I always wore my maternity things for a little while bevause I was too stubborn to go buy bigger sizes!  Ive been stuck in flip flops too, at first cause it was just too hot, but I went to put my sneakers on the other day and realized they dont fit!  Oh the joys of pregnancy!

I have wide hips to begin with. Even if they dint fit that means shopping! Lol cause I will not be wearing maternity jeans after she's born. I know some women do it but I refuse. I miss buttons and belts and zippers so bad!!! And regular shoes. Omg my boyfriend bought me a pair of shocks I had wanted for so long and I haven't been able to wear them since January cause my feet swell. I'm stuck in flip flops.

With my last baby it took me 6 months to reach pre pregnancy weight, i had gained 42 lbs, lost 20 the first month.  I managed to lose another 30 lbs on top of that within the next year.  But ever since my first my tummy and hips have always been bigger then before I was pregnant.  Ive already gained 48 lbs with this one at 35 weeks :/  i know im retaining a lot of water because ive never been so swollen during pregnancy, but its still depressing, I hope it comes off pretty quick!

Who doesn't lol I love ice cream!!!! I usually despise cake but with this pregnancy I love it!! But you never know bout your jeans. I went straight into my prepegnancy jeans with my son. I pray I don't with this baby. I try so hard to gain weight and can't unless I'm pregnant. I was 110 n now almost 160!!!! And it looks great on me!! I have a hyper active thyroid.

I believe it all depends on how you normally gain weight and your metabolism. When I was pregnant with my son I gain 65 lbs. After 10 days I lost 30 lbs!!!!! I confronted doc about it and they said it was ok cuz I was mainly water. So after a few months I was back to my normal size and had abs and all. Its different for everybody.

Right when baby pops out you'll still look kinda pregnant like 6 or 7 months then after a few days the rounded look will go down..some women are lucky and don't even look like they were ever pregnant right after they give birth..I'm not one of those haha
