I have to for my appointment on wednesday. The company told me they refuse service to women who cant prove they have a regular doc for their pregnancy because of they discover something wrong they dont want to be at fault for not reporting it and getting you the help you need. But they also said if my doc refused then they would still see me, as long as they knew ibhad a doctor I could tell the findings (if any) to. I think It just depends, because some of the more expensive places here didnt require permission. :)

I got mine done and didn't need permission from anyone. I'd go into the 3d ultrasound place and get one done anyways if you can. It doesn't harm the baby so I don't see why you would need permission from a doctor?

I had to have my doctors permission for one, apparently it's a state law here in TX. I think it depends on the place & where you live.

I've never heard of that before but I also have never had a 3d ultrasound done. That is crazy that ur sister in law couldnt have one done. I dont see the harm in it.

I didnt ask anybody if I could have one, I went and I got one at 17 weeks and they told me the sex of my baby....I only did it because my doctor said he will only give me 2 ultrasounds and I wanted more...just get one theres nothing wrong with that!
