I agree. I want to feel in control and let nature take its course. I dont want to be induced if I dont need it. And a needle to my spine?  No thanks! People look at me like im crazy when I talk about wanting a natural childbirth. I dont know anyone who wasnt medicaded. My midwife delivers in a hospital so ill get the best of both worlds. I wanted to deliver at a birth center but being my first pregnancy I was just a little paranoid about that. I understand complications may occur so I decided to play it safe. I hope and pray everything works out. Thanks for your input. And congrats to you :)

I am using a midwife as well. This is my first pregnancy and I have not had my first visit yet. But I've have used this midwife as my regular gyno as well. Also she deliver both my niece and nephew. My sister loved her and had no issues. I like the idea of letting my body do what it was naturally meant to do. Too many doctor try to rush and control evrything. Also my stepmother used a midwife for most of her pregnancys. And so did my aunt.
