Preseed question. Give me the lowdown on this stuff

So I'm wondering about preseed. Some sites say it is just a safe lubricant for the swimmers, others say that it compounds the CM and gives them a better chance of hanging in there longer. I am considering getting some for this next go round, but don't want to waste $ on a lube, considering that is never...let's say, ' a problem' for us. However, if it is going to increase our chances, I'm game. So what do you know about this stuff??

this will sound weird, but lets say honey and I bd friday.... why not squirt some preseed saturday and lay with my legs over my head for a bit? I'm reading this over again and realize how absolutely nuts I sound.

I should mention that dh didn't like the slippery sensation either...it was soo slippery he couldn't get any friction...

I loved it.  After 6 months of ttc and I have a major problem with CM, we tried it and I finally got pregnant.  Don't know if it was the pre-seed or not, but DH LOVED it!

I did the same thing amy did.... We had issues with CM. but I only had to use a little of it. Otherwise... also. Dh would lose sensation. :)

We used it because I do have issues with CM production.  Your own natural CM (the egg white stuff) is what preseed is trying to imitate...so if you have enough of your own I wouldn't waste the money.  :)  We used it, but DH felt like it was toooooo slippery and he lost sensation!

HONESTLY...I think it is a waste of money...I didn't have a cm issue but figured that I'd give it a shot...anything to help right!?  Well, I used it for a couple months and had no results...stopped using it a couple months and we got pg on our own.
