I think I figured it out!

I think I figured out why my cycle was out of whack last month. This may be confusing, but stick with me!

I had gotten my normal period while on bcp October 8-12. Then I took 3 pills, didn't take 3, took 1, then stopped for good. So because of that, I got my period again October 22-24, 14-15 days after my normal period, when I was supposed to O. I probably O at the same time, if at all. So then my body told itself to shed the uterine lining 28 days later, so it did November 19-23, again when I was supposed to O according to that first period Oct 8-12. So this time, my body waited 2 weeks after I actually did O (Dec. 15-16) to shed the lining and get me back on track. It's very confusing, but according the the calendar and the "normal" cycle days, it makes sense! And hopefully I'm back on track to O 14 days after af starts. I guess we'll see this month!
