My baby is measuring 4 weeks bigger....?

My baby is measuring 4 weeks bigger....? So i had an ultrasound at 7 weeks and it gave me a due date of nov 1st..second one was 11 weeks and gave me a due date of 10/29, 19 weeks gave me a due date of 10/24....every other one since then i've measured 4 weeks ahead on ultrasound each time:(....and to add to that my ultrasound says the baby weighs 9 pounds already.. I was not a big baby, and my husband was not either.. (i was 6.5 pounds he was 7. 51/2) he is 5'9 and i'm 5'7 so why are we having a huge baby..anyone else with no history of big babies, but having them....THANK YOU..oh ps i tested negative for g.d twice but have polyhydramnios...

My daughter measured way behind with my granddaughter, and they thought she would have an 8-9 lb baby.  Guess what??  The baby was 6 lb 12 oz.  The later the ultrasound, the more inconsistent the dates get.  Take your original date and see how it goes.  Chances are... the baby isn't as big as they thought.  Good luck!

Thank you both...I'm going crazy.. i just was wondering if my dates were wrong...cause at my 7 week ultrasound i thought i was 9 weeks by my period, but they swore that it was only 7 weeks...and since my 20 week i have been measuring way ahead. i hope that the baby is 7lbs. i don't want to give birth to a giant baby because they are pressuring induction!!!

My mother had me at 5 pounds and she was 6 pounds, as well as her mother. BUT my brother was 10.5 pounds!! lol with big shoulders. Unfortunate for her! Dont know where he got that from.  As long as its healthy. Thats all that matters. Its normal, talk to your doc and if he doesnt seem concerned no worries. But im telling you my mom was in the same boat. She kept measuring ahead.

Okay, so every u/s past 8 weeks is less accurate or the size of you baby!  My friend went to her due date, and they told her that her baby weighed 12 lbs and had to do an emergency csection lol, well the baby was 8lbs 13 oz....

So what i'm saying is, you baby could be 9 lbs, but I'd say in my opinion 7 lbs..  They told me both my kids were right before I had them 7 or 8 lbs, well I had them early, because they came early, that's my history but they came out at 5lbs 2 oz, and 5lbs 12 oz.  And that was after they told me 7 to 8 lbs  LOL

I was an 8 lb baby on the dot and my husband was 4 lbs 12 oz full term....  So I bet your baby isn't that big, it's the measurments they take, sometimes the baby will have a slightly larger head, and stomach like both mine did, so they assume the baby weighs more by those measurements....  Don't stress it, unless they are pushing a c-section and you don't want one!  If you don't tell them you want a normal vaginal delivery unless there is an emergency!
