Confused about cervical positions, please help!!!

Okay so AF ended yesterday, lasted 6 days, when it usually lasts 4. It was also 7 days late to begin with. Well naturally I thought I was pregnant until it started. I also had a blood test done, which was negative. But I guess I just ovulated later than i thought, so the blood test would have been done when it was still too early. The thing that confuses me is my cervical position. All throughout AF it was never really low or hard. And now just one day after all the bleeding stopped its really high and soft. I thought right after AF its supposed to be low and hard. I dont understand whats going on. I've also had mild cramps for 2 weeks straight. They started around the time AF should have shown up, and I still have them now. Does anyone have any insight as to what this all could be?? or is it most likely nothing...  is it possible to have bleeding that is extremely similar to a normal period the first month?

Thank you for he responses!

Umm I dont really specifically do charting and tracking or anything like that, so I'm not positive of when I actually ovulated. My guess is I'm about 21dpo but I could be totally wrong.
So I guess the only way to really know is to keep taking tests.

I am 5 weeks pregnant and my cervix is high and getting pretty soft but you cant assume pregnancy just by the position of your cervix as it is different for everyone. Yes it is possible to have bleeding in the first month of pregnancy. Do you know about how many dpo you are? I got a BFN at 11 dpo and a BFP at 17dpo, I didn't test in between there though.
