Epidural :(

Ftm and I'm really scared to get the epidural. Anyone else??

I had a natural birth, it's not as bad as people say. You just need to breathe.  The epidural you won't know when to push

It's really not that bad... I will say once Ur in full labor you'll want the epidural (most likely). I labored naturally for 17hrs w my 1st (contractions take the wind out if U) but I ended up w an emergency csection. I've had a total of 3 csections so of course I've had the epidural. Usually what they do is numb the area 1st then do the epi. You will not see the needle.. It's not like getting a shot in Ur arm or having blood drawn where U see what they are doing. The epidural is all behind U so U don't even see the needle. Try to relax.

I birthed all natural it's not as bad as most women try to say it is I did alot of breathing and my husband rubbed my neck and legs I had a 13 hour labor and don't regret one second of it

You don't ever see the needle so it's really not that bad and a nurse holds you through the whole thing but I'd nothing compared to those contractions lol

Same here! I'm going to try not to get the epidural unless I can't stand the pain.

Yes! FTM here and i hate hate hate needles!!! Very scared but i have been told that once it comes time you wont even care!

Its not that bad actually :)
Had it 2 times already and going to try it with no epidural this time lol
But anyways once contractions start the pain of the needle is the last thing you care about trust me :)
