1st appt out of pocket?

My husband just switched jobs about 1.5 months ago and the insurance will not kick in until January ...I found a good dr and was told an estimated price of my first appt. Anyone else pay out of pocket for your first appt and about how much? I will be 10wks tomrw. Thanks!

Even with insurance your first app your gonna have to pay a copayment bc they have to actually make sure your pregnant. That's what I had to do for my first and since then haven't been charged anything
