20 year old first time expecting.

I weight 270 pounds and I'm 5'3. I'm really nervous that my weight is going to harm the baby. I'm only 5 weeks in but I'm so nervous. Do any moms out there have any advice they can give? I had a miscarriage about 6 months ago and ever since then me and my husband have bin terrified to try again, but now that I actually am I so scared something will go wrong. Is there any food or anything really that will help me to have a healthy pregnancy and child?  I have looked up so much yet so ment websites give you so ment different answers? Can anyone help?

Your weight will not affect the baby, but your choices will. Lack of activity, eating 'bad' foods, those types of choices will not only affect your baby but how you and your body will handle pregnancy.  I was 220 with #1 and I'm 260 now with #2, I found that by going doe daily walks and eating a balanced diet I only gained 20 lbs with #1, and I'm 15+4 right now and I'm down 13 lbs from my pre pregnancy weight. Try to avoid white foods like flour and rice and pasta,  limit sugars,  and eat smaller meals more frequently.

I weighed about the same and am the same height. I was told to gain 15 lbs my whole pregnancy.  I didn't start gaining until I was 25 weeks. Eat healthy, fruits veggies grains. Drink water!
