I went in on 2\23 to see what was going on due to some spotting. They did a u/s n it showed a yolk sac n fetal pole. The u/s tech said I was about 4 weeks. so hoping to see a baby on the 15th. Excited cause this will be my 3rd n last baby. Not sure if I can wait till the U/s that they tell me the sex. I am looking at buying the intelligender to test before. I have 2 girls hoping for a boy but really want a healthy baby.... Some babies take awhile to show up on the u/s. Positive thoughts.

I wouldnt worry yet, I wasnt able to see my daughter until 3 days shy of 9 weeks. Sometimes the baby develops slower, etc. Try to remain calm.  Best of luck.

Every pregnancy has a yolk sac otherwise it wouldnt be there.Even if there is no baby in the sac(My OB told me that when my baby didnt develop) they didnt see a fetal pole is what it is.  But if your only 6 weeks your dates could be off and its to early to see anything. I went at 5 weeks 6days and saw nothing but an empty sac and went back a week later and had a baby with a heart beat. I would see if i could get another sono in a few days and go from there. Good Luck!
