30 weeks...serious water retention in feet

id have on and off days with swollen feet etc. but now both are doing it consistently..daily even with flip flops. and wearing flip flops hurt because theres no support on my feet.  my finger print stays on my foot when i push it in. for a minute. its gross. it looks like i have elephant feet.is this normal? what can i honestly do to relieve some pressure etc? even when i sit down on my knees for a second..i can feel my feet super tight fromt he water being squished. its soo gross. i odnt know if this is normal or if i should call doctor. but who honestly has time in there day between work..,a step daughters homework..and house to elevate there feet for an hour. im just concerned because how do i know if its toxemia or pre clampsia

i had that with my first childand ir was pre clampsia they induced me at 36 weeks because i was so bad they can tell my protein in your urine and blood pressure but for me swelling was horrible i couldnt even wear socks i was 16 when i got pregnant with my first and had him when i was 17 and they say young first time moms are more likely to get it.

it's normal, I too had swollen feet and still do. I'm 34 wks and it has gone down some. It can be due to heat, standing too long, sitting too long. I was to that if I'm sitting for more than 30 mins to walk around some to get blood flowing. drink lots of water of course and I know it might be hard but putting your feet up for just a few mins does help. hope this helps out until you can talk to your doctor about it
