Just diagnosed wirh Cholestasis

At 35w 5d have just been diagnosed with cholestasis. My gp was very concerned & sent me straight to hospital to have baby monitored, more bloods run & make a plan with the hospital doctor to be induced when they felt necessary. I am on the lower end.. My bikes are at the very end of acceptable but my enzymes are high, I am insanely itchy & have dark urine even after drinking 4 litres of water. The hospital doctor has organised that I have weekly bloods & baby be monitored twice weekly. She however does not want to induce me at 37-38 weeks. She wants to let me go full term. She told me to go away & do my research & think about everything & I'll see them Monday for tests & monitoring. I am not happy with this! the risk of still jumps dramatically after 37 weeks. Has anyone been in or currently in the same position? I'm speak to the nurses Monday, hospital doctor Tuesday then seeing my gp on Friday. I feel like the only one taking the risk seriously is my gp. How do I change the hospitals mind or can I change hospitals this late in pregnancy? We are in Australia.

Mayo Clinic offers an easy to understand summary of cholestatis which might help: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/cholestasis-of-pregnancy/basics/definition/con-20032985

If you're concerned about the accuracy of the diagnosis, it's wise to seek out a second opinion.
