severe stomach issue today maybe you know why
So last night I took two Tums. I woke up in horrible pain and have been all day. Its my stomach, my lower right which I was thinking was a ligament but its towards the back so it feels more like small intestine, and what feels like my large intestine on my left side.
I was thinking it could have been an adverse effect from the tums or
I strained quite a bit yesterday afternoon to go to the bathroom but felt fine afterwards. I haven't have to really strain things have been smooth but now entering my 3rd trimested things have been a little hard (pun intended) So im hoping i didn't cause myself a hyernia from pushing. but that was the afternoon and necer started hurting till the middle of the night. I was thinking bc i had a bean burro it was just gas filled up in my intestines. if so how do i get that out. or
my aunt told me the baby is getting bigger so im going to start to feel these pains bc shes pushing on everything. I know this is going to happen but what is weird to me is how all of a sudden it came on and how much pain im in. I seriously could barely stand up straight today. ill lay down and be fine but then have to get up and hurt again. walking helped a bit though i did notice that.
PS still having heartburn. wanting to drink milk but fear it might be a lactose thing as well...

I'm in the early stages of labor, still haven't dilated so got sent home. But so glad it's not appendicitis!!! Glad everything is okayy! ((:
After two pills and a shot 6 hours later contractions finally stopped. Doctor didn't have an answer for the Braxton Hicks. She felt the pain could be that I pulled a muscle. Haven't done anything to have pulled a muscle but I'll take it over appendicitis any day. Stool have the shakes from that shot gonna try to sleep it off. Thank you ladies four being there for me. :)
Oh my. Yes please do! Sorry if I don't respond right away though. I'm on my way 2 L&D. Comtractions 3mins apart! I wish u the best of luck though!!
Well I'm at the hospital. contractions started and have been about five mingus minutes apart... Just running tests. A few possibilities one being appendicitis. :/ will keep you posted.
Ooo ya! I had them pre pregnancy. you are right the pain would be in my back now that I think about it this definitely isn't it at this point.
Lower right could be kidney stones. Try taking a gas x pill to see if that helps. If your right side persists or gets worse, call your Dr or go to the er. Kidney stones suck while pregnant!!
Just a little back pain earlier but I think it was how I was sitting bc I haven't felt it since. The Lower right is a sharp pain then my left side is full gassy feeling
Is it your lower right back? How bad is the pain? Is it a stabbing pain, dull,etc?
I haven't had any contractions but if I do I'll definitely go right away. Oh wow I hope your ok... I hope we're okay... I'm gonna try the prune juice. How fast does it work? I've had pretty steady bowels every day... But maybe not enough
It sounds 2 me like a back up of poo and gas. It wouldn't have ne thing 2 rlly do with the tums because tums r just calcium. Try taking some Tylenol. If it doesn't get better and possibly even gets worse I think it would b worth calling ur doctor over, just 2 b on the safe side. I've found that a glass of prune juice will help me go 2 the bathroom when I'm backed up. Gross, but works lol
