A corpus luteal cyst is supposed to shrink and your body should absorb it. Hopefully it will shrink for you! Glad to hear your little one has a heartbeat and is growing, though! That's GREAT news!
they might not remove it til after the pregnancy. the doctor will keep watching it. congrats on your heartbeat. i am pregnant again after 2 MC's in 5 months and so desperatly crave to see a healthy heartbeat in a few weeks. I am only 4 weeks along. i foudn out very early since i am at a fertility doctor and taking progesterone.
Thanks for the comment.
I just had my 2nd ultrasound last June 7. Im on 8 weeks 2 days there is a fetal pole and heartbeat at 179 bpm. But the cyst at my right ovary continue to grow. I was asked to comeback for another ultrasound at my 18th weeks to re-examined the right ovary.
On June 11 i was brought to hospital due to abdominal pain. The doctor said I have UTI with matching LBM. At first the doctor suspected that it was becaused of my cyst so they want me to decide if i want it to be remove. But I hesitated because they are not sure if the baby will be safe. Do you think those medicines/antibiotics injected will have effect on my baby's growth? But this were all prescribed by my OB.
Right now I'm quite Ok. But there are slight pain in my abdomen because of constipation. What do you think about my cyst?
Thanks!
the corpus luteum cyst is the producers of the progesterone hormone which is needed, so it is a good thing.
As far as the sac, it is normal to not fee a fetal pole or heartbeat at 5 weeks. you should wait for the next US in 2 weeks and i bet you will see a healthy little heartbeat:)
