I am already 3cm dilated and 60% effaced and I was wondering is there any home remedies to help induce labor I am so uncomfortable when I sit or lay down and I heard pineapple can help induce labor is that true

Oh okay I am having a girl and I am due in 14 days and I am always walking but it doesnt seem to be working for me

dilation is how wide your cervix have opened up and effacement is measured to 100% and that is the measure of how thin your cervix is. so if you are 50% effaced then you are halfway there. once your cervix have thinned then it is easier to dilated.(easier for your cervix to open wider)

Easy way to tell u is the dilation is width and effacement is length
