brown mucus plug? (tmi) need information please!!!!!

so yeah, um i went to the bathroom and wiped...
and this nasty snotlike stuff mixed with brownish clumpish stuff... the brown is the color of poo i swear... came off on the toilet paper....
so yeah im totally grossed out.
i called my ob and the nurse said that it could possibly be my mucus plug...
has anyone else had this kind of  thing happen with there mucus plug?
im still worried its something else.

lol, i do it to my sister.....she's 13, nearly 14....and she knows i was pregnant @ 15, but even now at my age, i tell her all the "bad" things, like the "nasty things that poke out your butt", or "everything you eat tastes better coming up", and "nothings nastier than your period, until you realize a PERSON comes out of the same spot!!!"

needless to say, i don't weigh on the health issues, just the "nasty" parts, that would totally freak her out, and OHHHHH THEY DOO!!!

yes, i know birth is an awesome experience, but at her age, i don't want her knowing all the "good" stuff....i want her to be scared of pregnancy and childbirth, until she's old enough to understand it....like when she's 35 lol.....jeez, you'd think i'm more like her father, and she's a total daddy's girl, rather than my sister haha.....

Thats exactly what i do to my younger sisters for the same reason they are 15 and 17 o and 16... They say there never havin kids at least until there 30.. LOL we will see about that i think thats what i said and im 22 and on number 2.. LOL Well congrats are you going to do your labor natural or c-section or drugs.?? if you dont mind me asking

i am due on the 18th so yeah im really ready now!
silly gross pregnancy stuff... lol everytime something gross happens i tell my best friend... trying to scare her to keep on her birth control untill shes ready to ahve kids... shes only 19 and still in college.. you shoudl see the look on her face sometimes!

Its sounds to me like thats what it was .. i know that it can happen a couple times so dont be surprised if you get a little more come out.. it is disgusting but part of the miracle.. this means that you are getting close so congrats.. how far along are you??
