3d or 4d ultrasound

I had a friend who is 24weeks pregnant and never been to a doctor since she found out she was 8weeks pregnant and she wants to do a ultrasound to see what she is having.. is it possible she can get an ultrasound without consulting a doctor??? Is it too late for her to go to a doctor? She was telling me she can feel the baby moving on her lower abdomen. Idk what to say to her.. lol

Maybe have her go to a clinic to at least get checked out and explain to them that she's always on the road and then they can give her some other ideas :)

There's so many important test she should take to make sure she and baby are doing alright. She should see a Dr asap. A friend of mine a few years ago kept her pregnancy a secret until.she went into labor and had me go with her. Baby was born healthy but had some complications due to mom having diabetes and high blood pressure that was not monitored nor picked up until delivery.

And as for ultrasounds,  you can go to ultrasound schools or ultrasounds that are offered in a mall. There's a place called meet your baby. I went there for my twins. Awesome!

Good luck

@SuperMom I know... I told her about that she need to see a doctor, but she always far away from home. I just hope her baby is okay, she told me she been drinking prenatal since she found out, I hope that helps her and the baby. Thanks :)

Of coarse she can be seen. At an ultrasound place where you pay out of pocket. You don't need doctors approval. I just went last week. But I this she should see a doctor soon. :)

@AddiesMommy Thank you for ur comment. I'll sure tell her, she cant go to a doctor coz she been riding with her husband in the truck(her husband is a over the road trucker, means driving all over the states) is it safe for her to ride in a 18wheeler truck? I dont know what she is going through, im just worried about her.

I've had a few elective ultrasounds done..most places require seeing some sort of proof you're under medical care (doctors note, previous ultrasound, etc). She should have had an anatomy scan with her OB by now
