5 week ultrasound

Has anyone had a 5 week Ultrasound? If so, what did it show? I was having minor spotting so I had an early scan and it only showed a gestational sack is this normal?

I had a 5 week scan and it only showed a sac also.. Then another at 8 weeks which showed a tiny fetus with a strong beating heart! I'm now 30 weeks pregnant and baby likes to keep me up with swift kicks in the ribs!! Lol- don't panic. Baby is just so small at the moment.

I had one at 5 weeks and mine just showed the sac also, then the nurse also showed me this little spot that was supposedly the baby but it didn't really look like much of anything at the time

At my 5 week ultrasound i went in to the doctor bc i had been working and lifted something an started gushing blood. Thru ultrasound at 5 weeks i was told there was a gestational sac an nothing else and so i had no baby. I became depressed very quickly. At 9 weeks i went in to schedule my d&c they did ultrasound with another tech whom verified my baby heartbeat and wellbeing. I thank god everyday i insisted on that last ultrasound. Cause my first tech was very wrong. I am now 30 weeks pregnant and she is healthy and growing great. I would insist to not have anything done until atleast 12 weeks and i would insist on a second ultrasound from someone else
