5 weeks pregnant and disappearing symptoms?!

Hi Ladies,

Well, after a faint positive a week and a half ago, I continued testing each day, and have confirmed positive. I went to get my blood drawn on 8/26 and my hcg levels were 120 and my progesterone was 36 (I know, really high!). Two days later I had a second draw, and my hcg levels were 395 and my progesteron was still 36... I continued with my early pregnancy symptoms: sore breasts, head ached, mild cramping, gassy ( I know, right.. Ha!), and white discharge. I starting feeling ill at the beginning of this week and threw up twice... well, the past 2 days I've seemed to lose my pregnancy symptoms! My breasts are still sore- but I'm not sick, I don't have a headache, and I'm just super nervous because we got pregnant literally 3 weeks our first pregnancy, which ended in miscarriage. I know I'm probably paranoid- but, I always thought that the more you progresssed, the worse your symptoms got...

Is it normal for symptoms to come and go like that in early pregnancy? I thought since my numbers were tripling that they would be so strong too! Please help, ladies! :)

Thank you!!

One other thing, if you are only 5 weeks pregnant it's highly likely that the worst symptoms have yet to hit you.  Most women don't begin to REALLY experience the classic pregnancy symptoms until around 6 weeks.

For many women symptoms are NOT a constant in early pregnancy, they WILL come and go and it's quite normal.  The fact that you have HAD symptoms is a really good sign.  You may notice that you'll feel great for a few days then they'll hit you again and you'll feel lousy for awhile again.  As long as your HCG is rising and you are not bleeding and cramping then I wouldn't worry!!!
