Can anyone help ans this ? im 20 weeks prg & my cervix is open 6 cm open iim in bed rest DR dont know what to do with me?

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as diamondintherough79 while reading your post, I wonder why they didn't suggest that?  It is called a cerclage and I would talk to my doctor about it if I were you.  Can't hurt to ask.  Other than that I say take it very easy and adhere to the bed rest, I know it must be hard.

I have heard of stitches being put into the cervix, that might be an option. Praying that baby stays put!

I wow, I'm sorry, I don't have any advice but i wanted to offer my thoughts and prayers.  Did your water break??  If not, i'd say there's still hope that baby will stay in there for a while!  IMO, your doctor should be able to give you *some* kind of prognosis.  xxoo
