7 week ultrasound and hcg

I went to the dr last we'd and had an ultrasound and first quantitative hcg blood test.  My ultrasound came back and we saw a sac and my first hcg level was 21000.  I then went back on Friday 2d3h later and had my second hcg blood test drawn they came back at 30000.  We did these tests n at 11 weeks I miscarried in December 2011 and we wanted to make sure everything was progressing in the right direction.  From this little information can anyone tell me if things look positive?  I'm so terrified of havin another miscarriage.  My husband and I want a baby so very bad... And so does our 8ur old daughter(he adopted her).  I'm also wondering/curious bc he and his first wife had a miscarriage at 4.5wks (again mine was 11wk). Do I have a chance of this baby being ok??????  So very terrified!  One bonus is that I'm havin mild cramps/stretching this time and I didn't with baby 2 I lost in December.  Any help/advice?  Thanks for everything!!!!!

The norm for hcg levels are for them to double every 48-72 hours. However the further along you get and the the higher your numbers get the longer the doubling time. By 8 weeks they should level completely out and then decrease a little.

I went back to the dr yesterday and heard the heart beat.  It was 120 bpm and we could even see the blood flowing.. It was amazing!!! :).
