how can i get my partner to slow down long enough to talk about baby names?? he is always goin 90 to nuthin. i think he is scared he wont be a good dad but he will be and i tell him this all the time. please help ?? ;)

I see on your other post you're only 7 weeks so that may be the hold up for him. Although you feel pregnant with all the changes happening, he can't. Give him time. This is baby #4 for us & we just started picking names & I'm 18.6 weeks. We love each of our babies, but I think for guys it's a little more real for the guys when they can see the ultrasound or hear the heartbeat. You will get to hear the heartbeat soon & maybe that will help him make this feel more "real". Best wishes.

My husband was the same....we decided on the first name the day we found out we were having a boy! The middle name took a little longer! ..maybe try writing a list of names you like and give iit to him qnd if he doesnt like any of those just tell him...what do you like then!!

Have you found out what you're having yet?? I couldn't get my fiance to talk about it at all hardly until we found out that it, was a boy then he quickly decided on a name lol.
