Please Read i really need help faint + on 31st now stopping birth control!!!!

i've been on bcp (21 days) for 6 years but last few months not been good with timing & been ill but i've been having pregnancy symptoms nearly 7 weeks now increased cm, sore boobs, crampy, bloated (trousers tighter), heartburn, low back ache & feeling sick but not being sick. i was due to have period on the 16th but on the 13th v. light spotting started which was only visable when wiped this lasted 2-3 days & also went from brown to very watery pink... my normal flow is very heavy with lots of clotting still hadnt shown so knew that pregnancy was still possible i have been testing everyday since but keep getting negatives as you will know if been reading my earlier posts! i finally got a faint + on 31st so went to the doctors & he then took me off bcp to see if 'normal' period would resume i haven't taken it since 30th & started to spot on 31st but not heavy (same as last) but it isn't a period. Has any1 else had this?? & Now usual question on this forum do you think i'm pregnant????

I wasn't trying to concieve but if pregnant not unwanted so would like to know what my chances of having a normal pregnancy in these circumstances??

Hi Everyone

I'm still spotting today but only brown in morning then watery pink in the afternoon it's weird. Also my heartburn has eased off today a little i'm going to do a test tomorrow to see if i'm still pregnant because i'm not sure and going for a u/s and blood test as soon as spotting stops as don't like the idea while still spotting !! but what do you think my chances are of having a full term pregnancy in this situation ie pill, spotting.

thanks

becky

I had one at 6 weeks with this pregnancy, and they put a d***o-looking thing with a condom and some goo into your vagina, just enough to get a pic of what's going on. I can't imagine that the vaginals are much different depending on where you go, so I would say that's what to expect. It's a little uncomfortable, but once the pic and everything gets up there, you will forget what's going on down there!!! Good luck to you!!

Some women have periods while in early pregnancy. If you got a faint positive on the 31st then you should be able to take a test today and get a clearer result..... Your hcg levels are supposed to double every 48* hrs. (i think its 48*) So you should test again and see what you get! Good luck!

i know you can get a false neg, not a false pos unless your on certain med with hcg in them or you read it over the time limit. a faint post is a post

Have you gone and seen your Ob. I would ask for a u/s and some blood work. But If you got even a faint + I would say you are.
