Acetaminophen & Fever

Is acetaminophen approved while pregnant??
How does a fever affect your baby?? Can it be harmful??

Yes u can its the generic name for tylenol but u can only take 1000mg every 6-8 hrs can't take more then 2000mg what my Dr said.. he also said call him first before taking it for pain or fever because u could be masking symptoms you need to be alert of.  A fever causes u to over heat and can hurt baby drs say call if u have a fever of 101 or greater because it is bad.for u and baby

Yes you can take acetaminophen but not asprin or ibuprofin. If a fever is too high it could effect baby since your core temp would be higher & could effect the placenta.
