movement

I'm 24 weeks + 3 days and it worries me cause my baby boy doesn't seem to move around as much as he used to before, I still feel him kicking but only when I lie down at night. Is it because there isn't as much room as my belly isn't big... i can still technically lie on my belly or could it be something else?? I can't wait to get to speak to the midwife next week. Just needy mind putting to rest being this is my first pregnancy.

I think it was odd to feel him moving loads before and now the movements are barely there... everything is probably okay but can't help but worry. Thanks everyone for the comments

With my little girl she didn't move as much around week 28 but she's picked back up again now at week 30. As they get bigger they have less space to move. But if you're super concerned ask your doc/midwife about it.

My midwife told it normal to feel the baby some days and not at all other days and once you hit I think 30 weeks or close around d there you start keeping track of his movements :)

Thanks for replying.... puts my mind at ease a little bit but the worry tends to be there when I don't know what to expect! Hopefully get things checked over with the midwife and she can confirm everything.

You should always discuss lack of movement with your Dr/midwife, but it's probably ok. They don't have you worried much about movement until after 28 weeks. Before that the baby is still small, so they can move into positions that you can't feel. It's pretty normal. :)
