14 wk ultrasound they said girl didn't see penis but didn't see libia either

the obgyn did ultrasound at 14 weeks and didn't see penis although had ambilical cord wrapped all around legs she saw saw like a hamburger bun like image on bottom view.  She said girl and it just didn't feel right I knew with my daughter she was a girl dreamed she was a girl... she felt like a girl... this one feels nothing like that i honestly feel like it is a boy the facial features even look boy.  Am I crazy?  have i deluded myself into just thinking it is a boy or could it be a boy?  I have another ultrasound at 18 weeks but should i just expect another girl ultrasound?  i don't want to be hoping it is something and be disappointed but i genuinely would like either, i don't want to be disappointed and not even know why.

Yeah, hard to tell. Mine at 16 weeks clearly showed a girl and I just don't see those parts present in your photo...but I don't see boy parts either. I would hold out on picking names or having your heart set on one gender or the other. I was definetly prepared for a boy or a girl, while hubby was set on a boy. I could tell he was in shock when the tech said girl. It only took him a few hours to come around, but it was horrible seeing the disappointment on his face. Just keep an open mind. :) And I hope you get what you are looking for!

I swore my oldest was a boy..she wasn't  14 weeks is a little early to accurately determine gender.  This pic does look like a girl tho.  I'd wait til your next scan and see.
