miscarrage

well i recently had a miscarrage March 20, 2010 and i was 4-7 weeks,, i found out i was preg through a blood test i was only like a week along,,me and my fiance were so excited!! well since my miscarrage today has been 2 weeks and 2 days and 2 weeks exactly since my D&C,,me and my fiance want to try again,,we had unprotected sex March 31, April 1 and 2 and 4th and 5th..what are the chances i could be preg now..and if im not will i get preg faster??

Sorry for you loss. I got pregnant within 2 weeks of my d&c and now just over 11 weeks and all is well. They don't go by your lmp as they can never know when ur body returns to normal. I had a dating scan (I also start getting sick from conception) my dr said Ifor me as I had 2 children already and no history of mc it was just one of those things. If your body isn't ready then the egg won't be able to attach. Just make sure your emotionally ready

I had my second miscarriage on March 25.  With my first m/c I had a D&C and I was told to wait one cycle because it is a little tougher on you uterus and it needs time for the endumitrium(sp?) To completely replenish itself.  So you can try right away but if you really want to avoid the same result I would take the time off.  My second m/c I lost at 4wks 5days and I got pregnant again just over 2 weeks later, so it can happen fast.  I'm sorry for your loss, I know it's hard.  Good luck.

well i heard that sometimes they take your D&C date as your lmp,,??how true is that,,and how soon should i start my period after a D&C,,??

we really want to ttc,,we just dont want the same result,,
but i think if i do get preg again it wont be that much a problem like this past time,,
because before i found out i was preggers,,i was really sick and i was taking antibiotics,,and meds,,i had strep throat,,so i think that affected the baby so i think it wont happen again just as long as i take care of myself..

what do you think??

It's hard to say since you haven't had a period yet. Usually a doctor will tell you to wait till your 1st menstrual cycle to try again. It's not a bad thing if you ARE pregnant, it's just sometimes better to wait to make sure your uterus is completely healed to avoid infection.  You could be pregnant, but it really just depends on how your body took to the D&C. I guess you'll just have to wait and see. Good luck and best wishes!!

Hmm this is the pregnancy 18-34 forum, I think maybe that was a mistake? I don't know much about miscarriages and ttc after them unfortunately, but I would suggest waiting a couple weeks before you take a test, because if you just recently were having sex, it would be too early to tell whether or not you are pregnant. But good luck and I hope you get your positive!
