Any one with pets?

Did any of your animals get super attached to you now that you're pregnant? I have a cat and she follows me from room to room and always sleeps with me. I'll wake up to find her sleeping on my stomach lol. Hopefully when the baby comes she'll stay away from him.

I have a cat and a dog before I got pregnant they were the most loving animals my dog cuddled in bed with us so did my cat. After I found out I was pregnant bam both of them started acting up my dog who would never ever will pee or poop in the house he started going in the house. my cat I feel like he hates me he keeps his distance from me same with my dog. And now he growls at my youngest son during feeding time this is also new behaviour.

I had a weird situation actually. I have one male and one female dog and the male is usually really hyper but ever since I found out I was pregnant he has been really calm by me and my female dog has been acting up! She's a big brat now she likes to get into the trash and even pee in the house. I looked it up and it said animals can even sense the gender of the baby and says my female is acting up because she is jealous she won't be the only girl in my life anymore. I thought that was pretty interesting.

My grandmothers dog sits on my lap every time I go over there and she growls whenever someone sits next to me. Same goes with my fathers dog and my fiance's two cats. I feel bad because the cats use to sleep with us but now that I have our bassinet set up in our room I keep them out. Only because one of them jumped in it and that scared me. I dont want any pets around my baby.

I have 3 dogs and none of them have seemed to change their attitudes towards me except my dog she's the only female of the 3 and she just wants my attention constantly these days but I also got pregnant right after we got the new puppy so it might have just been because she lost that attention from me. BUT my friends 9 month old baby is obsessed with my belly he was putting his hands right where my baby boy was kicking and he kissed my belly over and over and he's still too little to understand how to kiss so it was super crazy! But totally awesome (=

My dog got jealous at first and then I guess she accepted the idea of having a baby around because she's always behind me as well. It's actually cute :) I enjoy having her around.

It is adorable huh! Although sometimes it's a little annoying, especially when she's standing right by my feet as I'm trying to walk and she almost trips me lol.
And I hope that's not the case all the time, I would hate it if she acted up around a newborn
