Anyone else starting the 2ww period?

I'm just starting the 2WW period, is there anyone else out there in the same boat?  I have to try and not be so anxious for the next 2 weeks.

I haven't been on much either.  I guess it's because I am just doing my best to get through each day.  I have been so sick.  I get home from work and crash.  If there is a smell within a five mile radius, I can pick it out and start gagging on it.  My husband said he want to take me hunting so I can sniff out animals.  I guess it's a good thing though, it does make me feel pregnant and puts some of the worry at ease.  I am almost 10wks now.  I can't wait to be out of the first tri.  Pregnancy doesn't always mean I'm having a baby.  I'm waiting for that feeling to come.  It might be a ways down the road though, probably after an ultrasound.

How are things going for you?

Hi all, im new here. I have 3 children ages 12, 7 & 5 and we have recently started trying for baby number 4, i had the coil out on the 11th march, AF came on the 27th march, going by then ovulation calendar i should of started ovulating between 7th-12th april, on the 7th i started bleeding again it lasted the normal time my AF would usually last, i started testing with OPK's and had a surge on the 22nd april (CD15) so lots of BDing, i am now CD25 and 10dpo, before i had the coil in my regular cycle was 28 days, im not sure what it is since having it out but if i was going by 28 days i would be due my AF on the 5th may, i have some ultra early 10mIU HPT, well being that i am not the patient type i tested this morning and got a BFN, do you think its too early? could my cycle be longer as oulated on CD15?

Im so pleased i found this site and can share this experiance with other people going through the same thing.

I hope everyone whos waiting gets a BFP this month xx

I have not been on here much and I definitly did not want to jinx anything.  Hows things going this time around?

SantanL

I usually went to two bars at about cd6 and I am on a 24 to 26 day cycle. Remember that it takes a few months for your monitor to get things sorted out. Be patient with it.

I am only monitoring my actual period and am not screening ovulation anymore.  With my husband only having 10 % good swimmers if it is going to happen it will.  Kind of taking a step back.

Good Luck Ladies.

tv-ready: Congrats on your BFP.  My fingers are crossed for you.
Sadnscared09:  Dont worry, whatever happens happens for good.  The only trick is, like Smurfette says, Stay Positive

Smurfette:  Good luck to you for this cycle.

I went to another romantic place with my husband, hoping tht I (may find out and I'll) break the good news to my husband there (we really tried last month), ..................  AF showed her ugly face and ruined my mood :(((

Well, Good Luck to me

I am so sorry for the loss of your first one.  I know it is so devastating.  Hopefully this will work quickly for you.  Good things can happen, just hang in there.  I have lost two babies so far and it's difficult each time.  I wish the best for you.

Wow, Congrats, I think monitoring sooner should put you at ease, try not to get too anxious.  Man, I hope this is it for you.  I have never had to deal with a MC, I can only imagine how tough it was.  Congrats for being so positive and being able to get back in the game so quickly.  LIFE, is all about how you view it and you have a great outlook.  Please keep me posted.

I, welcomed AF on Sunday. It was a couple days late and has not been too bad of a period so far.  I normally am very sore the first few days, but this one has been pleasantly comfortable.

sadnscared09 - tv-ready, is a great example of possitivity.  Getting pregnant can be a long drawn out process for some.  I have been waiting patiently for several years and just recently found out my husband only has 10% of his swimmers.  The thing that can bring comfort is that it did work the first time around and when you get pregnant again, I am sure it will monitored a bit closer. Good luck and stay positive.  Keep us posted.  Good for you aswell for being able to mentally try again so soon.  Some let a loss consume them, and that can effect you wants and goals.  It will happen, try to be patient.

i need some encouragment! I am in the middle of a cycle should be ovulating anytime now. I am so nervouse. I am on my first round of a fertility drug called clomid becuase i have pcos and don't ovulate on my own. I Had taken another fertility drug called femara and had taken it for 2 years before getting preganant. That pregnancy ended tragically when i went into preterm labor at 26 weeks.  It has now only been 4 months but i am dying to be a mother and am starting all over again. I am having trouble staying positive and don't want to wait another 2 years.

I took another hpt and got another bfp a few days ago.  I really didn't expect it to happen quite so quickly.  So hopefully this one will work out and I would be due the beginning of Dec.  I am very anxious though.  I'm going to see if my Dr. will do an early ultrasound or something to see if everything is okay.  I really hope so.  I guess backing off and not being quite so consumed by it paid off.  Good luck to you.

I am kind of in the same feeling.  I am expecting AF today. I am not experiencing any pre AF signs but sometimes they creap up real quick. Good luck with everything. Aside from wanting to know when AF is expected we are not really tracking anymore....too consuming.

Well I haven't even been on here in a while.  I'm trying to spend less time thinking about getting pregnant.  It's so stressful.  No I have not seen AF since the m/c.  I'm expecting it anytime really.  My doc said we could try this month and we didn't do much to prevent but didn't really try either.  I don't think I am though, no signs what so ever.  I am on cd 29 though, before the m/c I would be expecting AF tomorrow.  So anytime I think.  We'll see.

I am sitting at cd22, I am expecting AF between March 25 and 28th.  Generally I am 25 days but sometimes I can be off by a day or so (25 days would put me on schedule for March 26).  After my monitor peaked this month I packed it up and gave it back to the friend I borrowed it from.  So far no signs of anything either way.  Life has thrown us some new business opportunities, so we are kind of in limbo and are just living life. I will still track my period as to the length of it and when it is due, but because I don't get a real obvious increase in CM all the time we are just going to be in it randomly, and if it happens it does.

tv-ready, where are you sitting in cycle.  Have you gotten your period since MC?

Right now I am siting at cd11. I am expecting for my monitor to peak any day now. Usually I peak between cd 10-12. Make sure you are also logging everything on a calendar, example requested pee test (cd6), went to 2 bars (cd7), Monitor peaked (cd10),  start of period (cd1) and note how many days are from the start of cd1 to the next cd1, this tells you how long your cycle is.

Good Luck

You will like using the monitor, it takes all the guess work out.  It only peaks if you are ovulating.

Good Luck.

yea, I guess it does get difficult with a baby (what do I know, this is my first time trying :-(

My husband will be going away (for his job purposes) for next few years (its not like we will not meet, but you can imagine how difficult its can get with two working professionals/busy schedules/flying distances and on top of that my uncertain ovulation which may not happen every month.... so, at this point, I am killing the intimacy part of this game for myself...

I am hoping that the monitor-thing will help me.  I only have few months before he goes, so hopefully I'll ovulate in these months (and I also know that even if everything goes as planned, chances of conceiving and taking it on from there is very less...)

I hate this process... its so long and uncertain, involves so many ifs and buts.... I just hate it.

but they say once I  have a baby, I'll forget all these.  I am relying on tht.

My husband and I both work, and have a daughter who is 5. We swich it up when we can, but that is not very offten.  I think I was taking the laying down for at least a half hour too seriously. Not an option when you are being intimate during the day, because it is usually spur of the moment and then you have somewhere to be.  Daycations are not really an option when you have a child of school age and weekends usually involve my daughter.  Yeah we get date nights, and the odd weekend away, but not enough to really bring your attention away from the fact that you are trying to get pregnant.  I think this will be the last month using the monitor.  What I meant by work, is that my monitor tells me when to be trying to concieve.  I am finding that that is ruining the Spontaneity of it all.  I think it is time to take the pressure off for a bit and just have fun agan.  I know that we all hate it when people say that but I am looking at it more in a intimate aspect than concieving aspect.

Oh, thats a good to know.  So, your endometrium is ready to get thicker, so it can hold a baby :-)

Smurfette 1217:
I am thinking of buying a Monitor, and I'll have it tell me when I am more fertile...

Berrykkiss:
Hang in there, hows your temperature holding up??

I went to the OB yesterday.  He said that the miscarriage was complete and my endametrium(sp?) looks good and full or something along those lines.  He said that I can start trying even before my next period.  I was so glad to hear that .  So I guess that was as good of news as I could have gotten.  So here we go again.

All these months/years I thought I had short cycles (20-23days) and bleeding for 6-7 days (very light, no pain, not even on day 1, so I was not worried.  Yes, it was definitely inconvenient).
Just by looking at my 6-mo chart/color coded, my ObGyn said that it was not really a period.  I am not ovulating every month, but the uterus lining is building normally.  when uterus lining gets very thick, it is just shedding it off, leading to bleed/which is not equal to periods.

if that is the case, I recounted, color coded helped me and according to 6-month historic data, I found a 35day cycle, 51 day and 40 (still counting) day cycle...
with this uncertainty, I have no idea how to pin down my O-time :-(

more like a work?? have you tried changing place/ go on a daycation or weekend vacation, change the timing from night to day etc...

Tv-ready- glad to hear you are in good spirits and stay positive, it will happen.

I started late yesterday, I am counting today as cd1.  It is amazing how quickly AF can creep up. I am opposite from you, I am thinking about returning the loaned monitor.  It has helped me confirm that I am pretty regular and it detects a peak every month so I am ovulating, yeah I would be dealing with a 4 or 5 day window, but intimacy is starting to feel too planned and more like work.  I can look at a calendar instead of peeing on a stick almost every day. Time to re-assess the approach.

Anishru,

How all over the place are you?

berrykkiss,

Best of luck through this 2ww, be patient and don't read into symptoms tooo much. Keep in touh.

tv-ready:  Am so sorry to hear that.  Yeah, you have to believe that your miscarriage happened for a reason.
Dont worry, get back on track soon, that is the only way to C :-)

Smufette:  whats the update?

Reg mysel: I saw my ObGyn yesterday, he thinks I am not ovulating every month (this explains a lot about my irregular periods :-(
I am disappointed. I cant track anymore now, as a result, I cant plan properly...
