Any other nerdy Mom's on here?

I feel a little silly asking, but are there any other nerdy Mom's out there planning to give their baby a nerdy name? I picked Alorah Danen (the name of the baby girl from the movie Willow) if we have a girl and my husband picked Rand Al'thor (main character from the Wheel of Time book series) if we have a boy.

How can he hate Dr. Who?! My fiance has a Tardis tattoo on his wrist. We just didn't love any of the names enough for our baby.

I'm naming my girl Athena.
Wanted to name her river song after the woman in doctor who but unfortunately my bf Hates the show :(

My fiance and I are beyond nerdy about Game of Thrones. Daenerys Lee for a girl and Tyrion Michael for a boy are our names. :) We were thinking Castiel or Loki but our families liked Tyrion best. It was always between Khaleesi and Daenerys for a girl though. Nerdy names are the best!

My hb wanted to name our son Kalel after Superman and have his middle name Allan since it's his middle name but we didn't like the way Kalel Allan flowed so i came up with Kallan as a combo

I wanted to name our son Atticus but my hubby said no so now its our puppy's name lol

My only suggestion would be to remove the apostrophe from Al'thor.  Anyone familiar with the book series would recognize it without, and apostrophes in given names can be a nuisance when it comes to filling out school forms, the department of records, etc.  Computer-generated forms often drop the apostrophe or sometimes end the name at the apostrophe, or inform you that you are not allowed to do punctuation, and it's annoying to have the forms world get it wrong all the time.  That said, keep it if it matters.
