due date

my last period date was 18 January and i am very sure about it.according to which my due date will be 25 th of October.    but according to ultrasound report my due date will be 25th Nov. and my  doctor  said that i must forget my last period date.i want to know that is it possible that there is a difference of one month between LMP method and ultrasound report.or my baby is smaller than his age.plz let me know what are the possibilities as i m very much sure about my dates.

ultrasounds are very accurate in the beginning of pregnancy when babies all grow at about the same rate after that they are less accurate because all babies grow at different rates but a month is a big gap maybe you didn't get your period in february for a reason unrelated to your pregnancy but still ovulated you should just keep a eye on how he grows as long as he in the right range and the doctor isn't worried then just try not to stress about and enjoy being pregnant your baby will probably come sometime in between those 2 dates when he feels like it

It could be possible that you just ovulated really late and that's why your sue so much later.
