just great! Lice!

Just thought I would give everyone a laugh and maybe help cheer those up that are feeling the downs during there pregnancy... you guys should feel very happy lol... just found out I have lice, 5 months pregnant w/ lice and I don't know where the hell I caught it, I'm a clean freak! For gods sake!..anways. Im thinking for the past week that the pregnancy was giving me an itchy scalp but it turned out to be lice. It was no wonder I been up all night scratching and giving myself bumps in my head. Just great. Plus side is I see my doctor in a day and maybe he will help but for now I'm ready to read your guys lovely home remedies for a fellow pregnant woman of how to get rid of these bugs in my hair.. please and thank you for the help. My boyfriend is getting a kick out ta this so I don't mind any funny commentary:).

Mayonnaise treatments and wrap with cling film! I treat my daughters head every 3 months with mayo. It kills lice and the eggs

Well, I know the ways to prevent them
1. Lice love non chemically treated hair.
2. Tea tree oil mixed in with your shampoo
3. Use heat on your hair daily. Especially the root area.

And conditioner and heat then a fine comb will help removing the eggs

Hope this

The lice combs work really well. I had lice years ago and my mom combed it out, I also used a shampoo but check what's safe during pregnancy first!

My aunt does mayo in the haid wrap with suran wrap and shower cap wear for sevrra hours. Wash and do a thorough comb....not sure if it works but worth a try. Also wash blankets, pillows, pillow cases in hot water, bag any stuffed animals, vaccume really well. If you can get your partner to use thay spray stuff for stuff that cant be washed. Just stay out of the room while he does it and unti it dries.

Ddaannngggg! That *****! I know there are medications you can get and over the counter shampoos and stuff, since your pregnant I would wait till you see your doc because ingredients, they have insecticides and I don't know what's safe and what's not, I read you can have someone pick them out but f that that's so time consuming lol plus it depends on the severity of it you may have to be perscribed something if its safer for the baby. But your definitely going to have to use a bug bomb in your house and wash EVERYTHING! Lice suck!!!
