When I was first pregnant with my son, I had no idea I was pregnant since I wasn't late yet.  The night before I shouldve gotten my period I had the WORST cramps of my life.  I was at a friends house and they were so bad I said my uterus was trying to escape my body and that I needed to go home.  I went home and took tylenol and went straight to bed.  This was so unusual for me since I never have cramps.  I usually get my period first thing in the morning, so when I woke up I expected a really heavy period...there was nothing.  I immedietaly knew what that meant.  i went and bought a test and sure enough it instantly changed to a positive sign.  I had smaller cramps later on when my uterus would have a growth spurt lol

Usually it is normal. From the time I got pregnant up until the time i was about 4 months I got cramps usually around the time I would have started my period. But if it does not seem right to you, then I would call your doctor. Hope this helps and Good Luck!!

some women do experience this and it usually gets put down as your uterus expanding, as long as its not accompnied by bleeding, hop in a warm bath and see if that settles them down
