I'm with factorymomma I don't use special detergents or anything and I have never had a problem
Oh how long do you have to wash them with free and clear before you switch to regular?
Thanx,ladies I appreciate it.
I used dreft with my first cause well my mother bought it.lol after that ran out I just used regular tide with downy and have with every other baby item since. As long as it gets rinsed out properly it should be fine. I understand veins cautious. But I mean if the detergent bothers my kids skin I'd just wash them.in baby soap, like seriously baby body wash, weird I know but my Granny told me to use it.
I use dreft detergent and babies 'r' us dryer sheets to wash my little girl's clothes
I've always just used regular detergents and softeners with my kid :-P I've never had a problem.
I used Dreft with my daughter and I am going to use it this time also. Plus it works really well and its for babies.
They sell laundry softner that's free of dyes and perfumes. You can get it at wal mart, Target, etc...
I hear you, it can be confusing sometimes. I use ALL's free and clear detergent, and the Methods dryer sheets. They smell good too, an unexpected plus. :)
Thank you so much me and my fiancé were staring at the detergents in target for about 15 mins. I said do you know he said no do you. We busy out laughing I said ths ladies will know when I go online..lol
You can use special dryer sheets that are safe for the baby - they sell them at Babies R Us. I got some that are Methods brand, you can find them in their detergent aisle.
