Yeah, same here. I have minor scoliosis as well. That was part of the reason I had a lot of back pain, also. Not saying it's going to be the case for you, but when I went into labor they actually had to do my epidural TWICE because of the minor scoliosis. UGH, wasn't terrible, but still. Anyway, if your midwife isn't concerned, I guess it's just one more thing to add to the list of "Things to deal with during pregnancy".
You'll be alright... :)

Well I have mild scoliosis and it always causes aching pain and now it's intensified. I called and spoke with my midwife she isn't concerned since I have a pre existing back condition.
Hey girl, What type of back pain?
If it's sharp pain- Could be the sciatic... depending on where the pain is located. It can be very painful at times. I dealt with it my entire pregnancy.
If it's aching pain- Remember your body is making a lot of changes. Especially, in the beginning weeks, you'll probably be very aware of the way your body feels and most likely it's normal.
Could be anything though... Maybe schedule an appointment or if you can wait until your next appointment, bring it up and make sure they check you out.
Hope this helps... Tiff
