Birthmarks

Can birthmarks be inherited? I was born with one on my face that I had removed as a teen but just wondering if my little girl could be born with one too? Have a 9 month old son who dosen't have one but he dose have the same red birthmark as my mom and sister, in the same place too :/

They can, but not always. I have a birthmark on my leg, and my oldest son does as well. Not in the same location though. My youngest doesn't have any birthmarks though!
